OUR DATA

Every layer has a paper trail.

A map is only as good as its record. Here is exactly where each REMA layer comes from, and how we keep it honest.

Every dataset checked for updates quarterly

Retailer locations & logos

500 BRANDS

Brand location data aggregated from retailer-published directories and commercial location feeds, matched to print-ready logo marks tuned for aerials. Missing a brand? Upload your own logo and it maps natively.

Parcel boundaries & ownership

140M+ PARCELS · 2,500+ COUNTIES · 80%+ U.S.

Boundaries, owner names, and acreage sourced county by county from assessor and recorder offices. Counties that don't publish digitally are marked as such on the coverage map, never approximated.

Traffic counts

50 STATES + DC

A federal baseline everywhere, enhanced with direct state DOT feeds where the state publishes richer counts, including TxDOT, Caltrans, and WSDOT. Feed cadence varies by agency from monthly to annually.

Flood zones

2,596 COUNTIES PUBLISHED

FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer, shown exactly as published. Where FEMA hasn't mapped a county, REMA says so instead of guessing, because a wrong flood answer is worse than none.
