Terms of Service

realestatemaps.app (REMA)

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of realestatemaps.app, including its web application, parcel and mapping data, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by REMA Tech LLC ("REMA," "we," "us," or "our"). By checking the acceptance box when you create an account, or by using the Service, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Service you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering for an account and to keep that information up to date.

United States only. The Service is offered only to individuals located in the United States and to companies and other organizations established in the United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are located in the United States, or that you are using the Service for a company or other organization established in the United States and are authorized to act for it. We do not verify these statements. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for complying with any laws that apply to you there. A false statement about your eligibility is a breach of these Terms.

No obligations under non-U.S. law. The Service is offered under the laws of the United States. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use outside the United States, and we accept no obligation under the laws of any other country (including foreign consumer-protection, data-protection, or withdrawal-right laws) that would not apply to us under the laws of the United States. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including by members of a team you create. Notify us promptly at support@realestatemaps.app of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service and Data Licensing

realestatemaps.app provides commercial real estate mapping tools and parcel data compiled from public records and third-party map providers.

License to Customer. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service, and to use maps, reports, exports, and other outputs generated through the Service ("Outputs"), for your own use, including sharing Outputs with clients, partners, or counterparties in the ordinary course of your work. You may not provide the underlying raw parcel data, map tiles, or data feeds to others as a standalone product or feed; Section 6 sets out the other limits.

Data Sources. Parcel and map data come from public government records and third-party providers and are provided "as is" (see Section 7).

Map Providers. Map features use Google Maps and Mapbox. Your use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (maps.google.com/help/terms_maps) and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Not Professional Advice. The Service, Outputs, and AI features are not an appraisal, survey, title report, or legal, tax, or investment advice.

4. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

Plans. The Service is offered on a Monthly Plan and a Yearly Plan.

Payments Through Stripe and Link. Subscriptions are sold through Link, a Stripe service, and Stripe acts as merchant of record for your purchase. Your card statement shows the charge as LINK.COM followed by our statement descriptor. Your plan, its price, the billing period, any tax, and any trial end date are shown at checkout before you subscribe. Link sends your receipts, invoices, and refund emails and handles payment and subscription support; we handle support for the Service itself. A charge Link collects for the Service is payment of the fees under these Terms. The payment terms shown at checkout apply to the payment. These Terms govern your use of the Service.

Plan Changes. You may switch between plans where your Link account (link.com) offers the switch, or by emailing support@realestatemaps.app. A plan change takes effect, and is billed, as shown to you before you confirm it.

Billing and Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as applicable) unless you cancel before the renewal as described in Section 5. You authorize Stripe, as merchant of record, to charge your payment method on file through Link for each renewal at the price shown at checkout, as changed only under Price Changes below, plus any tax calculated on that charge. Fees are billed in advance of each billing period. If a renewal charge is declined, we may suspend access until it is paid. A refund, whether we, Stripe, or Link issue it, and a charge Stripe reverses in a dispute are not amounts you still owe.

Price Changes. We may change subscription fees. A higher price applies only at a later renewal, after we email the address on your account and tell you how to cancel before that renewal, and within any notice period required by law.

Taxes. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Stripe, as merchant of record, calculates, collects, and remits sales tax or similar taxes where its merchant-of-record service covers them, based on your location, and shows them at checkout before you pay.

Free Trial. We may offer a free trial period (currently 7 days) for new subscriptions. We may require a valid payment method to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, your trial will automatically convert into a paid Monthly or Yearly subscription (as selected) and your payment method will be charged the price shown at checkout for that plan, plus any tax calculated on that charge. We may change or end the free-trial offer for future sign-ups; we will not shorten a trial you have already started.

Discretionary Free Access. We may, at our sole discretion, grant free or discounted access to the Service to specific users or accounts (for example, comp accounts, partners, or promotional access). Any such grant is offered solely at our discretion, may be modified or revoked at any time, and does not create any ongoing entitlement, obligation, or precedent for future access, pricing, or terms for that account or any other account.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Link account (link.com), which you can reach from Settings → Billing in the Service, or by emailing support@realestatemaps.app and we will stop future renewals. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues through the end of the current billing period, unless access ends earlier under Section 9. If you cancel a free trial before it ends, you will not be charged for the plan you selected.

Refunds. If no charge for the Service has already been refunded to you, you may request a full refund of your first paid charge within 14 days after that charge by emailing support@realestatemaps.app. If Stripe or Link has refunded only part of that first charge, and no other charge for the Service has been refunded to you, you may still ask us, within the same 14 days, to refund the rest of it; all refunds of that one charge together count as your one refund, not two. A refund we issue includes the tax on the amount we refund. Because Stripe is the merchant of record, Stripe may also issue a refund through Link support under its own policies, including without our approval. Refunds are limited to one per customer, except as required by applicable law: any refund of a charge for the Service counts as that one refund, whether we, Stripe, or Link issue it, whether or not you asked for it, and including a refund that resolves or prevents a payment dispute. We treat the same payment card, billing email address, or organization as the same customer. You may subscribe again after a refund, but we will not refund a later subscription, except as required by applicable law. Otherwise, we do not refund fees already paid, except as required by applicable law. After the 14-day refund period, Yearly subscribers who cancel mid-term do not receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the term, except as required by applicable law. A switch between the Monthly and Yearly plans is a plan change, not a cancellation, and does not by itself trigger a refund.

Chargebacks. A chargeback or other payment dispute you raise with your card issuer or bank is not itself a refund under this section and does not use up your one refund. Except as required by applicable law, we will not refund a charge that has been reversed in a dispute or that is the subject of an open dispute. After a chargeback on a charge for the Service, we may suspend or close your account, except where the law prohibits it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or third party's rights in connection with your use of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
  • Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract parcel, map, or other data from the Service beyond normal use of its built-in export features for your own use.
  • Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise provide the Service or the underlying raw data or bulk exports to third parties as a standalone product or data feed.
  • Use the Service, or data obtained through it, to build or support a competing mapping or parcel-data product.
  • Use the Service, its data, or Outputs to make decisions about credit, insurance, employment, housing or tenancy, or for any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and Outputs are not consumer reports.
  • Use owner information to harass, stalk, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone, or publish a home address or telephone number where a law that applies to that disclosure forbids it.
  • Share your account login credentials with, or allow access to your account by, anyone outside your organization.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or other technical protection measures we use to control access to the Service or its data.

Violating this section is grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your account, without advance notice, in addition to any other remedies available to us.

7. Service Availability; Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable periodically for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

THE SERVICE, AND ALL DATA, MAPS, AI-GENERATED CONTENT, AND OUTPUTS PROVIDED THROUGH IT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT PARCEL, MAP, OR OTHER DATA PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR INDEPENDENTLY VERIFYING ANY DATA BEFORE RELYING ON IT FOR BUSINESS, FINANCIAL, OR LEGAL DECISIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; AND (b) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time as described in Section 5. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if you violate Section 6 (Acceptable Use) or Section 2, or otherwise materially breach these Terms, including in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or legal risk. We may also suspend or close your account after a chargeback, as Section 5 describes.

When access ends, your license ends. We delete account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination survive, including payment obligations, the license limits, acceptable use, your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (such as by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect, and we will ask you to accept them where the law requires. Changes apply going forward.

12. Your Content, Copyright, and Indemnity

Your Content. You keep ownership of content you upload or save, including logos, images, annotations, and maps. You grant REMA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, and process that content only to provide the Service, including storage, exports you request, and AI features you use. You represent that you have the rights to that content and to grant this license. We may remove content we believe violates the law or these Terms.

Copyright. Send copyright infringement notices to support@realestatemaps.app. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify REMA Tech LLC against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of your content, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

13. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and REMA about the Service and replace any earlier terms. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Notices we send to the email address on your account are given when sent.
